Though my musical journey began later than most, on a seemingly ordinary summer afternoon at the age of 10, my relationship with the piano blossomed into a deep passion. As a young child, the piano bench felt like a place of punishment, a stark contrast to my boundless energy and love for dance. But my parents, hoping to channel my energy, encouraged me to explore music. A chance encounter with an outstanding teacher, Meng, transformed my perspective entirely. Suddenly, hours would fly by as I immersed myself in the world of music, captivated by the stories each note could tell—from the growling wind to cascading waterfalls and gentle raindrops. The piano had become my voice.
